Default hondata intake gasket buy

I need to know how many people are interested in buying an intake gasket for the RSX type S. You will gain approx 5hp. I was authorized by hondata to offer 25% off of the headgasket if I get 25 orders. I already have 22 confirmed orders on clubrsx. So, if you're on clubrsx and already posted there please DO NOT post here. If you're in for this group buy, the price will be $45 plus shipping. instead of $60 plus shipping. tranceisafeeling is my aim sn squak2me@san.rr.com is my e-mail. so...who's in?

Hey Merlyn, you sure that price is still valid? Doug mentioned this past Monday that someone at Hondata made a mistake and he really can't let those things go for $45. I already got mine from him, but I wonder if he had to increase the price of those things on the group buy.

Well, when I talked to Doug @ Hondata (he's half owner) he said someone at Hondata definitely made a mistake with that price...they cannot let them go for $45. I got mine from him for $50 tho!! haha No tax, no shipping, no waiting. Anyway, with such an inexpensive part, what's the point of a group buy. You'll save a whopping $10 bucks and you'll have to wait who knows how long. Just buy it from a shop or Hondata itself.

Oh, and hey people, if someone tries to tell you they'll show you how to install the gasket for $50, don't get ripped!! Either take it to a real shop to pay that much or just learn for free from others, like me. Last time I checked, paying for labor meant you didn't have to do it yourself.

the price had to go up to $55. Someone at Hondata made a mistake in saying that the price was ok, and that i should go up and post it on the message boards, so to make a long story short, the price is $55 at your door, and the wait isn't long at all.

about the $50 comment, I was offering to install it for that price...i'll show people how to do it...thus far, i've done it 4 times on other people's cars...and once on mine. They didn't pay me a thing...and i don't care if I lend a hand...but if i'm going to do it all for them, then either food or cash would be very nice.

cool, that's not too much to ask, i was under the impression that you were just going to "show" people how to do it. i know the temp is cooler now on my manifold, but it's still hotter than i would like. hondata measured 105deg. on my manifold, which is geat considering it used to read close to 150deg.

Yea..after running my car for a while...popping my hood...i couldnt touch the intake manifold..way too hot. Now, i can keep my hand on it...so yea, it's definatly cooler. If you REALLY want to cool it off though, spray some water on that thing! It drops temps SIGNIFICANTLY!!!
