Default :Searched: Does the F22 tranny fit on a F23 motor?

I have searched and cant find straight answers, even in the FAQ. Im a big B-series guy and just recently bought a 94 EX Accord coupe with an F23 in it and the dummy blew out the tranny, i picked up an F22 tranny but apparently theres some differences between the two. I assumed cross-compatibility was just like a B-series but apparently not.

With that being said, if I use the F22 tranny (if it even fits) do I need to get an F22 clutch based off of spline count or is there any differences? I need hard known facts, not opinions or guesses. Thanks in advance peeps!

Yes it will. The b series transmission will also fit.

So all compatibility is unquestioned? No stipulations whatsoever?

Thanks for the link on that H2B kit but I bought the accord for a clean daily with A/C while I build my Civic.

Yes, you can bolt an F22 tranny up to an F23Ax engine. All the splines on the input shaft are all the same, so you have no worries. All F-Series are all interchangeable.

The H2B kit will not work in the Accord. Nobody has yet to make a tranny mount for the Accord/Prelude; though, I heard it's being tested as we speak.

Alright thanks for the feedback Nus, i figured Honda wouldnt be ******** about the F-Series but had to make sure before i went and bought one. Btw, i went and found a F22 from another EX Accord so i dont have to deal with these headaches, its literally just for transportation and looking nice, ill probably start a thread here soon since ill be ordering all the new stuff for it pretty soon.

So what Tranny can fit into a F23 motor without any problems and get more from it?
