Can someone ID this for me?

i am attemping to install AC into my 1992 Civic SI which was R12 system but now i am converting to R134a with the complete swap from a 4 door 95 Civic and heres the problem
everything on the blower side hooks up but the temperture sensor which makes no sensor to me i checked the harness from the car i pulled the ac blower/evap out and it has a Green 6 pin wire to an ABS box then temperture sensor can someone tell me what this is?
everything bolts on right but the temperture sensor wire.. i have no idea how to wire it up

94~95 has a 3 pin plug

does anyone know what this is? i am assumed the 95 special Edition 4 door civic i pulled that part out had ABS on it.. would that cost the problem to me since mine doesnt' have ABS.
ALSO the Black Device plugs into his STOCK HARNESS (6pin)
can i just avoid this and just hot wire to the temperture sensor but the which wire goes where to the sensor? meaning + -

thanks a lot man.. but what does it do?
what is that thing anyway.. i mean in order to make it work.. can i just hot wire the temperature sensor itself? and to do so since the plug won't fit.. any idea which wire goes where?
