Valve cover w/ House of Kolor metallic auto paint? will it hold up?
I have been running the idea of painting my valve cover purple for a bit, and was going to just get engine enamel and go that route, but I think metallic purple would look so much better. I ran across this $10 for 4 oz, you guys think 4 oz will do the job?

And will this hold up, with primer/base/clear to the heat...i've heard the valve covers don't get as hot as the manifold covers and such. What do you guys think?

HOK is good stuff. Put it over a decent epoxy primer and coat with a decent urethane clear and it will last a long time. 4oz should be enough to do a valve cover.
