Default What do I do about this? (searched)

I've been searching here, TeamIntegra and ClubIntegra and haven't gotten a good answer. As this is a tech form, figured I'd get the best answer here.

Just wanted to pull out the spark plugs and see what condition they were in and I find Oil all over the place. Possible spark plug Tubes? But I don't really know what those are or how to fix them.? More details would be awesome! Thanks!

its happened to me before... its your valve cover gasket (spark plug seal gasket). Just order another b-series vtec valve cover gasket set, replace all them all and wallah! DONE!

I see a broken stud and a missing nut for the valve cover. It'll never stop leaking until you replace the broken/missing hardware. That should be your first priority.

Lulz this made me laugh. Funny how people don't have any common sense right?

I was under the impression that was just for the wire cover? How is this stud replaced?

Those four studs will all end up with 2 nuts on each, the lowers are to secure the valve cover, then you install the wire cover, then the upper nuts to secure the cover.

That stud is also the bolt for your cam cap, you have to remove the valve cover to get to it. It's a 12mm socket, unscrew it then put the new one in and tighten it. To be safe you should probably loosen all the bolts for the exhaust cam when you do this and torque them in the correct order to be safe, I didn't and I haven't had any problems.

The stud is part number 90014-PR3-000 from the honda dealership. May as well get a valve cover gasket kit and change that since you'll have the cover off anyway. Make sure all 8 valve cover nuts are installed and you should be good to go.

Thanks a lot, I appreciate it. I'll get to that this weekend (hopefully! Easter...) and report back.
