cracking in my back speakers?
could be distortion or clipping from the head unit or amp or the speakers can't take it... post what equipment you have.... maybe your turning it up too high it only does it at higher/highest volumes? or throughout the volume range?
I have 2 JL 12w3's that are run by a rockford 800.2 amp. I have a Memphis STD3004 for my interior speakers. I am not sure what my back speakers are but my front speakers are mb quarts. It only cracks at a higher volume, never at a lower volume.
i have the same problem with my beats, i noticed when i fold my seat down and turn it up it does'nt do it. i think its because of all the pressure from the subs hitting when the seats or up, i guess when you fold the seat down it has less pressure on the 6x9's in the rear deck.
i have this in my problem in my car. pioneer 7400 head. cheapo kenwood 6.5s up front [sound great btw] stock 6x9s out back. with the subs off, i can hear a rattling sound from the 6x9s when i turn it up. sounds like something loose rattling, then again my friend says my speakers are shot. which is it?
