Default Cam broke now time for MPFI swap

SO i was driving on the highway and started loosing power. My oil light was only coming on during really hard turn so I thought I had some time like a few days till payday to do the oil change. Apparently not. I think the head starved of oil and the cam just snapped from the sprocket.

After preping for mpfi swap and new head I decided to see the damage extent and maybe I could just swap the cams but some of the teeth on the belt are gone, and the seat for the cam at the sprocket side has a ugly downward lip now and bad groove marks in it. See the damage below.

So I got a decent looking head which I plan to get milled about .040 and do the MPFI swap. I have a harness from a previous build but some parts are missing but its enough to do it.
I am reading because this will be my first MPFI swap. Im reading alot of articales some arent as clear as others. Here are a few im reading over after searching.....

Anyone have any other threads to suggest that may be clear'er with more detailed pictures or diagrams? Thanks And do I need the resistor box? I have a 91 dx.

You wont need a resistor box if you use obd1 injectors. If you got a a6 complete IM then all you should have to do is wiring. What head did you buy?

Heres a pic of the head and the IM. The seller was from here he said the dizzy he included was from a d15b7 obd1.

I think I have 4 injectors from my a6 or z6 that i had a while ago. Ill check them out and post any numbers I find, on here.

I just have one suggestion. If your oil light EVER comes on, even "during really hard turn", put a quart of oil (probably two) in that **** ASAP. Like pull over and do it right now. Never mind waiting a few days for payday and an oil change.

If the camshaft stopped, but the crank didn't (which happened, since you were moving when the cam stopped), you're probably going to need more than just a head. You could very well have damaged some pistons when they contacted the valves.
