Default 96 accord coolant leak

hey so my mom has a base model 96 accord and its leaking coolant under the starter. anyone know what is located below the starter on this model car? is it just a coolant line? its not spacious at all for me to get a good look. i have car battery and starter all in the way so i want to know what it is im going after before i start working on the car

yes, theres a coolant hose running right underneath the starter.

no wait, it comes from the lower radiator outlet but it goes over the starter and behind the engine...

Definitely the lower hose, you might as well change the upper and lower hoses plus the thermostat for peace of mind. Preventative maintenance.

the lower hose goes below the starter? its so hard to see whats in that area but if so, thnx!

The lines below the starter are not coolant lines.
They carry ATF to and from, the fluid cooler.

How about one of the hoses above the starter, and it is dripping out.....like that dang heater hose under the dist.

Anyway, open the hood and run the car, or get a pressure tester and pressurize the cooling system and start hunting.

probably the coolant hose under the dist. it's usually the first to go, and can develop a hole right near the end, had it happen on 2 Hondas. a lot of times u can just cut the end of the hose off and reinstall the hose if the leak is near the end.
