92 civic clutch squeaking!
when i engage the clutch the cable squeaks , where the luttle rubber boot is , i don't think it's anything serious . . . some guy said it was probably my pressure plate or throwout , but i don't believe so . (hydraulic)
the cable or the hose...if you have hydro trans which im sure you do it shouldnt have a cable just the hydro hose...but ive read it has to do with the little shaft from the slave cylinder...
yeah the hose infront of tranny with rubber boot , sorry man im a noob with this kind of **** but yeah loud squeak there when i engauge the clutch .. maybe lube it up ?
Here's a picture, ignore the red writing.
Pull back the rubber boot from the transmission. You'll see a small metal rod with a rounded end that pushes against an arm coming out from the transmission. The arm will have a rounded cup that the rod sits in. You'll want to grease in that cup, make sure you get some under the area where the rod contacts the arm.
