Need to know throttle cable set ups for b18c1 in eg
Hello ht-
I have searched this topic with mixed results. I have 95 eg civic and b18c1 engine with skunk 2 pro intake manifold. What throttle cable/bracket set ups are you using? I've been told itr cable and bracket. Now I've read there is a way to use stock gsr cable with aftermarket bracket from innovative? I've also heard people talking about stock gsr bracket with different cable? I want it to bolt straight up with no other modification and look clean and stock. Please help so I can get this project behind me and start the next.thanks

You cant use the gsr bracket because it hits the hood. You also have to replace the throttle pulley. I used the old one off my d motor. The GSR is the odd-ball of the b series so unless you want to fab up something I recommend the ITR route. I couldn't figure any other way. I just finished my gsr swap in my eg6 w/ a skunk2 pro IM. I bought itr cable and bracket for 40 bucks. The GSR cable was the longest, then the d series, and then the ITR was the shortest.
I have a GSR cable and used the stock bracket on my B18C swap. No clearance issues and it looks stock. Dunno where anyone would get clearance issues unless you messed up using the wrong mounts or something.

Which intake manifold are you using because with the skunk2 you do have clearance issues. I am using Hasport mounts and everything is 100%
