Default how to: 94/95 lip on 96/97 bumper, new way?

So I put got a new bumper today, it's a 96/97 bumper which i like better. I took the 95 lip off to mount on the new bumper, but it takes some custom fitting and people have had issues with not having anywhere to mount the middle of the lip to the bumper seeing as you have to cut most of that off in order to make it fit flush. Here's my solution, which I don't think i've ever seen done before so i decided to share it with you all. (since there's already an FAQ thread on this, i'll leave most of the details to the part I did differently.)

In order to provide stability in the center of the lip where you have to cut to allow it to sit flush on the bumper, I decided to actually mount both the 95 lip, and the 96/97 lip that it came with.

To do this after mounting the 95 lip on with bolts/screws and making sure it was flush with the bumper, I slid the 96 lip in behind it, this allowed for all the mounting tabs that originally bolt it to the bumper to allign right where they should be, but raised a little bit due to the fact that your sandwiching the 95 lip.

Take your mounting bolts and press the tab down until you can thread the bolt into the clips in the original mounting locations.

I ended up getting these three on either side, so 6 total holding the 96/97 lip over the 95.

Now you'll see a hole in the 95 lip that extends back, that originally bolted to the splash guard i think? This ends up right over the bottom part of the 96/97 lip. Drill a hole and place another bolt through and your finished.

If you were to rub a curb, or drive through snow, the 96/97 lip is mounted secure behind it to prevent the middle of the 95 lip from caving in, or ripping the bolts out. I yanked and pulled on the lip and it didn't budge, and when mounted on the car it you would never know there are two lips on it.

Let me know what you think, or if anybody else has tried this. I'll post pictures tomorow of how it looks mounted on the car, ended up getting dark when i finally got the bumper back on.

Here's some pics I got of the car today, Driven it around on rough roads, even tried to squeeze the bumper over a parking block and couldn't make it over it, and the lip didnt budge. I think it's going to hold solid
