Seat Brackets! (lovefab?) Corbeau
just picked up some Corbeau FX1 seats and lookings to make or buy some brackets. To my knowledge so far i have 3 options.
1.Corbeau bottom mount seats(sit high)
2.Corbea side mounts(no sliders)
3. Custom fabrication
One of my questions is that iv heard that lovefab makes seat brackets but cant seem to find any information on them, are they still around? (do they even exist lol)
Does anyone have a corbeau fx1 seat that cares to share what bracket/slider they are using and how the seat sits?
thanks!

Lovefab is most definitely still around, they are in Traverse City MI. Did you try giving their phone number a try? They are semi-active on a Michigan forum, I can PM them this thread.
I have 2 FX1 Pros. I just installed the driver side yesterday with the corbeau bottom mounts and sliders. It does sit MUCH higher than my Sparco Sprint with custom brackets. Right now the car is on 4 jack stands so it's a little hard to gauge exactly how low I need the seat to be. With the bottom cushion removed I should be comfortable.
But personally I would just get the brackets with the side mounts (no sliders). Face it, you don't need to move the driver seat around much after you set a comfortable driving position. Without the sliders you could bring the seat about 1"-1.25" closer to the floor of the car.

i talked to corbeau as well and they said that what people do is grind down the bottom portion of the fiberglass(for the bottom mount) beacuse the threads for the bolts dont actually start until about an 1 1/2" past the fiberglass. I was considering doing that but people say that the seats sit super high and im afraid that i will spend a bunch of money on brackets that make the seats feel akward. Lovefab is calling me back shortly to talk about custom brackets.
the reason i dont go with the sidemount fixed brackets is that its a street car and i have people ranging from 6'3" to 5'3" that sit in it, as well as a few other peopel that i allow to drive my car.
thank you for your info tho
