when i bought my car the roof and the trunk were primered black and it was just ugly so today i got sum paint thinner and some scotch bright till the black came off and i see why they put primer of it but i think it looks better still here is what it looks like now what do you suggest on fixing it, i cannot afford a full paint job so thats out of the question

 

Buzz it down with 320 grit and make sure to get all the clear off otherwise it'll fail again. Then seal/prime it, go to the paint store with your paint code. They will
Mix it for you in a spray can. And get dome clear. You have yourself a home made paint job.
