1998 Honda Civic HatchBack ITR B18c5 Swap Simple and CHEAP $3999
Same issue? Stolen trans/motors? LOL Not mine or many other I know on here. If the tags are popped off.. There's only 2 reasons. 1, It's stolen and 2, It's stolen. I'd check the VIN on the motor etc and make sure that's not stolen either so if you were to get pulled over, They can't take your car. You may not steal etc, But you're now involved with stolen goods, Doesn't look good and you can clearly see it. Knowing that's a tall tail sign of theft, You still bought the goods? I thought you don't deal with stolen parts etc..
well if thats the case then i guess my whole car got stolen parts....
there no vin on my 99-00 front end also..bumper fenders hood doors rear bumper etc...
F*UCK i guess i bought a stolen car...lol

i understand what sir-g dc is saying. but everything that he is saying represent alot of hondas that is forsale on HT...from engine, trans, and body panels...we all know even body panels came with vins on them...just because it doesn't have a vin on it doesn't mean it is stolen...

Bump for a great deal. Someone better pick this car up.
P.S. None of my car's body panels (or motors) have VIN's including the Type R Hatch I just built... LOL

I don't believe Sirg was assuming anything, he was just stating the facts pure and simple. The vin tag is definitely removed from the block, it's clear is day, no debris blocking it's absence. Either way, glwts!
You are 100% wrong that is clear as day the VIN tag is removed from the block. The location where the VIN should be on the block is not visible in any of the pictures. On my motor the VIN tag gets crudded up pretty quickly and needs to be cleaned up to see the tag.

Oh noes I am wrong about something, my life is over. lol Seriously though, you just proved my point, why not clean it up and post pictures of said vin tag if this is legit? Just trying to help potential buyers. Gl!
