I now live in southern AZ and wanted to tow this car from CA but we just crunched the numbers and it would cost us potentially a thousand dollars in gas alone on top of the near $1000 for truck and car dolly rental. I’ve been looking forward to driving this again because of its fun handling characteristics and the gas mileage but unfortunately it wouldn’t be a financially reasonable thing to bring this to AZ anymore.

I bought the car in 2007 from another Honda-tech member, and then basically used this CRX in 2007 to transfer/move belongings from WA state to my truck in CA (which was parked at my Grandma’s house in the Bay Area) before I moved to AZ. This car has been garaged at my Grandma’s house since December 2007, and the body on it is really good because the car has been hibernating indoors for the last 4.5 years. The car hasn’t moved since and I never had a chance to bring it with me to AZ due to military deployments/assignments, wife's school schedule, etc. For almost 5 years, the car has essentially been preserved and used as a storage bin for my grandma’s extra blankets, comforters, and pillows. lol

I will work on getting some pictures of it ASAP, as of now this is what I have. The car will obviously need fluids changed and probably a new battery. I’d like to see this go to a CRX enthusiast, and it saddens me to acknowledge I should sell this to a Bay Area local instead of tow it out of state. If someone wants to buy it I will be in CA for a weekend on May 5th/6th. I’ll bring the title with me just in case. Currently entertaining offers, PM me for any questions or concerns.

The car is from WA so it may need a couple of tweaks (maybe the ECU and a thing or two under the hood, sourced from a junkyard car or something) to make it ok for CA emissions standards, if you live in one of the strict inspection areas.
