Problem with hesitation
Ok, so here's my dilema. I have a 2000 Civic EX that I blew the motor in and swapped in a d16y7 from a 97 hx. I swapped over the intake from the y8 mainly to retain my cruise control. I also had a huge exhaust leak in front of my O2 sensor which I just fixed. Runs a lot better now but i'm still getting a really bad stumble/hesitation when I take of from lower RPMs. It only happens when it's warm and only to about 2k-3k rpms. after that it smooths right out. My question is because I'm using the y8 ecu and intake, do I need to use the y8 injectors. I've seen on here to use the y7 injectors when people do the intake swap, but i'm assuming that is because they had the y7 stock and frankenstiened a y8 intake. Would y7 injectors make my car run too lean, or am I barking up the wrong tree. Under normal circumstances I would start replacing parts that most likely need it anyway, but I'm extremely strapped for $ and literally can't afford it. I'm just wondering if there was anything I could do for little or no $ that could help me diagnose this.
Also I found the screw for the rotor came off, so I cleaned up the contacts and popped a new screw on it. Re-timed it and still she stumbles. Any help would be appreciated.
