Default Moonroof and the visor

Hey all, I've been looking at getting a moonroof visor for my 2000 Civic EX coupe. I know my local Honda dealer has them, but I want to know if there are any other alternatives that aren't too bad.

Also, does anyone know if the tilt function on the moonroof actually does anything? When I turn recirculate air off and the A/C off air seems to blow even hard from the vents when I have the moonroof tilted. But other than that, I can't find a reason why anyone would tilt it. I had this idea that if I had the moonroof visor it might help shoot air into the gap of the tilt. I think of it like water flowing around a rock in a stream: it creates an eddy where the water swirls inward towards the opposite side of the rock from the side it's not hitting. I figure the same rule would apply. If it doesn't, then it will at least quiet the moonroof down a bit and help circulate air in with the moonroof open.
