SMSP Header Finally Here(lots of pics)
Well after a long wait, my SMSP header finally arrived. It sure is a hell of a difference over my old beat up JDM 4-1. I put the header on the other day, and man it feels good. The first thing I noticed was alot more midrange, and top end is crazy now. If i punch it in 1st gear rolling aroun 5k, the tires will start to break loose. I plan to get my car to a dyno soon and do some tuning. I will post graphs as soon as I get them.
to Dave at SMSP fora great quality header, and good service.
If you plan on getting a good header for a NA setup, wait it out and spend a little extra for the SMSP. You wont regret you choice.

That thing is forkin' beautiful -- a real work of art. All of us will be VERY interested to see what happens on the dyno. Please keep us posted.

Well I paid $750. I have the GSR 1 peice header. The adjustable header is more $$$.

Wow. That thing looks very nice. Hope to see some graphs. I'm assuming it is the same length as the jdm headers (so no new cat is needed), so it is a plug-n-play with the dc, jdm itr, spoon, mugen, toda, hytech, etc....

I was wondering why it looked so short...normally an SMSP is like an extra 10inches and pairs the 1,3 and 2,4 Cylinders if I remember Correctly.
I'm ordering a SMSP setup for B20, so it's about $1100.
How long was the wait time? I'm wondering how much longer I can procrastinate.

HyTech is the one who pairs 1,3 and 2,4. SMSP does the 1,2 3,4 pairing. Not that it really matters, they are the same thing looking at the 1-3-4-2 firing order.
I see now so the SMSP one-piece is a stock length header while the SMSP adjustable is the extra long version. For some reason I thought the one-piece was also long too but I guess I thought wrong.
