Default 88 to 91 Civic Hatch : wheel/tire/suspension fitment

Ok as some of you know that I just got the 89 Civic Si Hatch and I was having a problem with the engine but everything is figured out now . Now is time for me to throw some wheels on and the suspension but since this is my first Civic and don't know the whole lot about the wheel ( what fits what not) and the offset to make the car sit flush to the fenders . I know alot of u guys already lower ur car and wheels installed . Let's just make this thread about the wheels/tires .. Ok lets just show some pics of ur wheels/offset and the tires suze and also what kind of suspension you have on the car .

Bone stock,

Is there a reason the rim sticks out past the tire so much? My rims look nothing like that. Is it part of the style?
