I have a 1996 Accord LX 2.2.

I want to change the rotors to 5 lugs.

What do I look for in a salvage yard?

In other words, what fits what?

I find it hard to believe that there aren't front rotors that will just bolt on without having to change all those parts, spend all that money and do all that work.

The rotors don't hold the lug studs; the spindle/hub does. That means you need a spindle that is 5 lug, a bearing that works with the spindle and knuckle, and of course 5 lug rotors.

 

You will need the complete 5 lug knuckle, hub/bearing assembly and rotor.

There is a link to the 5 lug swap in the sticky that tells you exactly what you need. I believe it is the one that Bird333 was nice enough to find for you.

Rotors are only part of the swap. As mentioned above the rotor does not contain the lugs, the hub assembly does.

When you find a 5 lug hub that fits into place with the stock knuckle, bearing and rotor (4 lug). Please be sure to let the rest of us know!

Have you ever changed the rotors on your car before? I'm guessing that you have not!
