5mm spacers or shave calipers for HX WHEELS on INTEGRA? HELP!
hi. sorry if i posted this in the wrong area.
anyway, i'm debating between shaving the calipers (3mm-4mm) or getting a 5mm/6mm spacer.
**now before i get flamed, i know that there are tons of threads and diy on how to go about this, and i have looked through 10-15 pages, but they are 2-3 years old, and being that this is a forum, i was wondering if anyone had negative experiences with the spacers *PERSONALLY* and not from word of mouth**
anyway, i know that arp studs are the proper way to go about things, but personally i would rather use spacers or shave the caliper.
any input would be greatly appreciated.
thanks in advance!!
tl;dr
has anyone used spacers to fit hx wheels on their integra? should i use spacers or grind the caliper a bit.

You can run a 5mm spacer on the stock lug studs safely. I wouldn't recommend going beyond a 6-8mm spacer on the stock studs, though. You won't have enough threads to safely secure the wheels to the car.
