Default 02 Accord clutch slave cylinder line adapter

Hello everyone. I am sorry if this has been covered before, but I am running out of daylight and need some help. I am replacing the clutch master and slave cylinders for my 02 Accord 4cyl and have a question about the slave. There is some kind of adapter on it that the line screws into that I cannot figure out how to get off (can't find anything on YouTube either). Any help is appreciated.

Put the slave cylinder in a vise, spray fitting with WD40 or PBlaster, let soak for a few minutes, remove with open end or box end wrench.

It will freely turn as is, I just feel like an idiot because I can't figure out how to get it out.

Thanks. I felt like a moron when I figured that out today after work. I was surprised I actually had what I needed to get it out since I haven't worked on cars for over 20 years.

Got the slave attached and my son and I spent a couple of hours bleeding the line. Finally got all of the air out and the clutch feels normal. My problem now is the car won't turn over. The starter is spinning and trying, but it seems like the clutch is not fully engaged and it won't turn over. I tried adjusting the pedal, but to no avail.

Any advice?

And you have the transmission in neutral? Assuming yes, then it should not matter if the hydraulics are working, but the electrical switch on the clutch pedal will still be important for allowing the starter to turn over. Perhaps the switch is malfunctioned.

The clutch safety switch actually vibrated loose on my 94 Accord the other night and my starter worked intermediatly. Just pushed the pedal down and adjusted the switch accordingly.
