Popping sound from front end & tram-lining
I have a 91 CRX and whenever I apply about 50% pedal travel on the brake I hear a popping sound once I come to a complete stop, does anyone what could be the problem? ball joints? bushing?
and it also follows the road or tram lines.
any help is appreciated

mine does the same thing every once in a while...also when accelerating from a dead stop, when the front end rises. almost all my stuff up front is fairly new so after looking closer, it turns out my right front spring was broke and i'm assuming is the culprit. i'll know for sure once i get my konis and new ground controls on her in the next week or two. not sure if you checked that yet.
My money is on ball joints. Mine did it more when unloading the suspension, like braking in reverse, and then forward motion...etc. I guess bushings could knock, but I still say upper ball joints. Get Moog.
Or adjustable upper arms for camber adjustment.
