When removing the tank from my 92 Integra we ended up having to cut the fuel filler hose because it would not budge from its fittings. I figured this would be a commonly available item, but I cannot seem to find one at my local advance auto or on ebay. My local salvage yard has virtually no parts for this car, so I doubt they would have this. Any suggestions on where to find one of these online?

Hondapartsunlimited yes, not sure who sonsacura is but if they are an ebay parts vendor as well I have checked and found nothing, unless they call this something other then a fuel filler line/hose.

I'm also looking for a new fuel sending unit if anyone has a clue where to find those as well.

Its getting a little disturbing how many used parts I'm having to buy for this car, and some that I'm unable to find. I own many domestic cars much less common then this Integra, however parts are far more readily available. Why is it that new replacement parts are so hard to come by on this car?

 

I've never heard that term before. Is it simular to the filler neck?

 

Its the large rubber hose that connects the fuel tank to the metal pipe leading down from the fuel inlet on the side of the car. I'm guessing the metal pipe is what you call the filler neck. It looks like a pre-bent rubber hose like a radiator hose, but I suppose I could get by using a regular peice of large fuel hose and a heat gun to bend it into shape.

 

After searching high and low at various local parts stores looking for something that would work, it was suggested I check a place that installs custom flat beds on pickup trucks as they usually have to make custom length fuel filler hoses and necks. Will check it out tomorrow as they were not open today but hopefully its going to yield something.

Well a bit of an update to this.

Couldn't find anything locally at any shops in the size I need. Found the part on sonsacura, or so I though, ordered it, then received a refund as the part is no longer available. Contacted Hondapartsunlimited and they also said they didn't have the part. No junk yards in my state seem to have it, or much of anything for this car it seems. So thus far, I still haven't found a replacement.

I can't seem to find any generic 1 1/4" fuel hose either. If anyone has any idea where I could find it, let me know.
