Default Project "Candice", 99 GS.

I have been eyeballing this car for almost 1 year. It has been sitting in my moms neighbors garage for 2.5 years and sat in a parking spot for a half a year. This will be my 12th Honda/Acura since 2000.

This will be my 3rd DC, so I'm not new to the type of cars at all. My first was a 97 LS auto purchased in 2000, that I converted to manual back in 2003. I found a wrecked 95 GSR to use as a parts car. I did the gsr/manual swap after I got it smogged (California FTL) and never got it to the state ref. So after almost 2 years with the gsr in there, I swapped back the stock engine. Kept that car until 2007, when I purchased a 2005 WRX STi. The Integra sat, so I decided to sell it.

So back to "Candice", a tow truck pulled in and I see this guy pushing the car out of the garage. I ran down there and asked whats going on with the car. He told me his girlfriend was selling it to a junkyard for $600, but if I wanted it he would give it to me for $500. I said deal, and the tow truck driver threw a **** fit because he just lost out on a car.

So it needed a few things after sitting for almost 3 years. (2 years back registration, Windshield, Battery, all fluids changed, and a through cleaning.) I had everything but the battery and the windshield. I still need to get a windshield, but it's a solid car for what I payed.

Some P&S pics:

Anyone have any incite on this website?

http://www.2kracing.com/Category/Acu...k_Exhaust.html

I really want to get an exhaust for the car. Nothing obnoxious, but a little louder than stock. I HATE the CANISTER (round) style mufflers with a passion. (Sorry if you own one, it's your car do what you want.) I had a DC Sports catback on my last car, and I like how it sounded. It was a oval muffler that looked nice. Now on this site it's saying/showing a round canister, so I guess that's out.

What do you think about these:

Acura Integra RS/LS/GS Tanabe Super Medalion Hyper Spec Cat Back Exhaust System (1994-2001)

Acura Integra LS/2 Door Apexi Noir Exhaust (1994-2001)

Acura Integra LS/ Type R Apexi Ws2 Exhaust System (1994-1997)

I will also be using the factory manifold and cat for now.

I will also be installing some Skunk2 springs I have from my old car.

thats a bargain find! is the car not running? and as far as exhaust goes, go for the Apexi WS2. It's slightly loud than stock but not apexi N1 loud. Silent at idle and slightly louder than stock at normal RPM's..think of a stock 06+ civic si or stock G35 loud.

That's a steal if its runs and even if it doesn't still good. lol
As for the exhaust i think your looking for the WS2. I read alot of nice things about it.

Thanks!

Future mods include:

Catback, skunk2 lowering springs, header, AEM CAI I have sitting in my garage, short shifter & bushings, light tint, and to try to find some spacers to bring the rear wheels out closer to the fenders.

The car runs strong! 182xxx miles on the odo, but the full maintenance was done 2 weeks before it was parked in the garage along with a engine rebuild and a new clutch.

SO, I noticed a coolant leak. Might be coming from the water pump, so a engine pull might be coming up. Video will be up shortly.

Not the best video, will get a new one in the morning when it's light out. At .33-34 seconds, you can see the puddle on the ground.
