Default Throwing on some 15x8s

I'm really searching for a user on here who currently owns or has owned an EF running 15x8s with a 0mm offset. I currently have my front fenders rolled and runnin skunk2 front camber kits. My question. How to get this setup drive able to the point there's no rubbing. I've read way too much the past 2 days and understand tire stretching is bad everyone says the exact same thing like they copied and pasted it to show their knowledge. Anyways I know someone on here's ran an 8 inch wheel. Hope to hear some positive feedback and will post pics once I get it going. Thanks

0 offset is to much for a EF. 25+ MAX, anything else will stick out way to far. Only way to fit is with major stretching. And yes more stretch the more unsafe it becomes.

I ran a 15x8 25 offset with 195/45 tires.

I am the definition of bandwagon dude. Look at my car a second time. Everyone's opinions matter and make my car. Duh.

I love the low offset look. Simple. What are the low offset guys doing to make it work. I'm done hearing from the rpf1/sw knock off guys. It is what it is.

Honestly bud, im going with 15x8 +25 on a 205-45-15,and it wll be on a crx. But im not going to be low at all, im going with a more fuctional look, Why? because everyone one is doing the wide streched tire/slammed to the ground jdm as **** dlook theme, Im doing the total opposite of what everyone else is doing, In my opinion. I think it will look 10x better instead of going 15x8 0 offset, ive also done my research on ef's and what offset i should go with the best thing my advice to you would be go on google and just type in offset's on crx and see what "you" like not everyone else, your not building you car for other people ur doing it because its "your" car. But take it or leave it i just giving adivce.

# ^^ If that's your car i deff like it keep it up

I'm assuming you mean "content with" instead.

People are telling you their opinions and offering their advise; no reason to be a dick because you don't like what they're offering. Honestly, the set up you want to go with hasn't been tried for good reasons, not because people aren't trying to think outside the box.

Good luck with what you end up with, but you're really painting yourself into a corner needlessly.

People on here Are so bias in ther opinions. Like there is a guide line with what to do with a car. You are just as mainstream as the fads themselves. Its just as cool to hate and look down on a trend as it is to like it. It's unbelievable. Get over yourselves. One question is asked and then you have all the Honda tech veterans step in to prove a"pointless point." if it doesn't apply, then don't give me your feedback. The question was simply stated.

here go, took me a minute on google when searching "crx with 0 offset 15x8"

http://youtu.be/GIPCVdnsokg

you really like that look? to me it looks like something is broken on the car. aka, it looks like ****. but w/e your car you tastes.

reality though, short of rolling and pulling or even going with some fender flares, you're going to have rubbing issues. that, along with some serious negative camber, and some seriously stretched tires

see my build thread.
I have 15x8 +12 front
15x8 0 rear. 0's will fit upfront with some stretch and mild camber. and rolled fenders.

Great info slowstefan. I'm glad u had great feedback. So you think 0 offset upfront as well will be achievable. ?

Man, forget what all these ignorant people are saying.

I literally just put that exact size on.

15x8, 0 offset with 165/45/15 tires. If you want to pull them off tou need alot of camber. My car is low enough that i dont need front camber kits. But, they still poke. Oh, and fenders are just rolled, do not pull them.

Doesn't look safe. Or good for that matter (in my opinion).

@OP

Not sure if you were serious about calling yourself the definition of bandwagon or if you were trying to be sarcastic about your car. It really does look like an average HT inspired CRX, that's why I'm confused. Tow hook, JDM front, tilted hood, and of course the mandatory fog light and lip accessories.

I hate the bandwagon mentality of this place as much as anyone else, and if you are being serious about not jumping on to it for the sake of being cool - you should probably reconsider your next wheel selection.

As far as the tech behind it goes, I think you got your answer. Stretch the tires, roll the fenders, and run as much negative camber as you need to in order to make it work. Not exactly rocket science.

If you get 15x8s I recommend 165/45 tires. It's what I rock and it's stretched and It beads just like any other tire without a single problem or issue. The stretch isn't over kill like some. But it is definitely noticeable.

It is achievable, you may not even need a camber kit. your wheels will probably sit flush with the camber of just dropping it. Since my car has +12 in the front... it has the camber pulled out some to sit flush. Also rolled fenders are a must when doing this (obvious statement is obvious)lol

I know people will hate...but don't listen to what other people say..
It's your car. Do what you want. People say it's unsafe...
Well there are just as many people saying it's safe... as there are saying it's unsafe.

We just stretched 165/50 on a 15x9... work meister s1... stretch looks ****ing insane. It's beaded perfectly and will stay that way. The work set up is

15x8 -12 front. 15x9 - 18 rear. It's on an EG Si hatch. I'll have pics in my build thread soon just to show people what I've been up to.

AGAIN... DO WHAT YOU WANT. people on the internet will hate. and people in person will mutter under their breath.

If you have any questions about fitment or stance. I'll more than likely be able to answer. Have fun!!

Thank you nightmonkey, you are awesome and I'm sure your car is as well. Thanks for the replies, 165 seems a little steep for me. My first attempt will be with my 205s. Then I'll go for 195s if there's issues. And again slowstefan, thanks for the help and your car is sexy.

15x8 0 offset is to much on a crx, just my opinion, to much camber in my eyes, the vid looks like he knew nothing about rims/offsets and just made them fit and it looks horrible and dangreous, with the strechched tire. but i geuss if thats what you like, do work. it just looks like every other hella low crx with stretched tires.

Good point em2. My car isn't a track car nor a drag car. It's a DD. I drive slow I personally enjoy the look of the dish. I'm very pleased the way the Crx looks properly stances out. If I was pushing over 300whp that would bring a different argument. The wheels will be here soon well as the rear camber kit. Once it's dialed in and aligned I'll shoot up some pictures.
