Default Some "things to think about" for those of you heading to VIR from NoVA

Our friendly neighborhood sniper has plucked off 2 people in VA. There was a 3rd shooting this morning in Fredericksburg off of 95 - same M.O.

It may be prudent to avoid the I-95 corridor and come down 81 . . .

Not paranoid just offering some food for thought.

if coming down 81, meet us at 6pm in the isat gravel lot. isat is the huge white building on a hill on the left of 81S. exit 245, make a right at the light, make another immediate right into JMU. go straight until you can make a right at another road (parallel to 81), cross over 81, go through "the esses," pass a stop sign, the gravel lot is past the mesh fences on your right.

He hasn't had the ballz to hit a moving target yet so keep moving if you do go down 95.

How? From my understanding, all traffic is pretty much stopped or near a stand-still as they searching for a specific van.

well I'm driving down from Philadelphia, leaving around 4pm, when I get to D.C. I could go around the beltway to rt.66 then down rt.29S. Is rt. 29 the best way?

Supposedly only North traffic is stopped.

Northbound is basically shut down and the police activity has all but caused the southbound side to come to a stop as well. 495 is fucked now too.

Just avoid it, for anyone coming from the north, hit 66W to either 29 or you can go all the way to 81.

taking 95 to F-burg licks nads anyway...the traffic is usually heinous no matter what time of day it is....with all the stopping, anyone on 95 will be moving uber-slow.
