Repainting Lip and Wing
I need to repaint my lip and wing. The lip's paint is starting to fade and the previous owner apparently bought a red itr wing and painted over it and its starting to chip
. Is this a job a beginner could do cheaply or is it better to get it painted professionally?

you can do it yourself easily, but it also varies on the paint job you currently have.
Just Sand them down, paint them, and use a clear coat if you wish.
It's up to you which method you choose to paint though.
Spray paint, or with a gun.

if your using gloss paint then just use spray paint and clear coat is optional but looks great.
if you are using metallic or any paint with flakes in it then yes use a gun.
Gloss finishes between a can and a gun aren't really that far apart, but metallic finishes you should always use a gun.
just my opinion.

yeah you can use a can for that, just make sure the paint codes match up.
if you were painting something big like the hood or a door then i'd recommend a gun with that paint.
since your only painting a lip and wing you dont have to worry about much going wrong
