Ugh.. to keep things short and simple, I need to know if anyone is familiar with a shop in the Chicago? Grays Lake IL area called Charged Air. (www.chargedair.com)

I bought a FMIC kit from them for my 1G DSM... back in July. I still have yet to receive all my product, and whenever I call or email them for a refund, I get no luck. I wanted to know if someone could go out there, let me know if the shop even exists and help me get my refund. I'll offer up some cash for whoever can give me a hand. I'm out $743.00 right now.. I'll give whoever can help me $50.00 for just going up there and returning stuff for me. (And sending me the rest of my money.)

Anybody from there?

 

I live in that area... Do you have an address and number for the place? I never heard anything about this shop. But if you give me some info I can look into it for you, plus my buddy lives in the next town over from Grayslake, Im about 20 minutes from there. IM or email me with info.

edit, have you tried to send them a letter in the mail demanding refund, or have you called every day of the week?

do you have a receipt? invoice, or credit card statement as to your payment?

Update: I knew this would happen - as soon as I ask for help.

I wrote the BBB this morning filing a complaint against them. Low and behold, I come home today to see a partial refund in my paypal account from them. Then I read my email to see that they are scheduling a pickup on Monday to get my core, and once they receive it - I'll be getting my full refund back.

Thanks to you guys who offered to help - I'll keep you posted and let you know if I do need some help! HT peoples rock.

 

 

BBB rulez! Not enough people use BBB to our advantage. I know BBB helped me get my insruance money back from UPSucks a while ago.
