are my injectors big enough
ive had a brand new turbo kit laying around for a while now and i will finally have time to install it in the near future. i was wondering if the 450cc injectors i was giving will be big enough for my h22 or should i spend $200+ for bigger ones and if so what size? keep in mind i only wanna boost 8-12 lbs daily driven. thanks

Just for reference ill be using 525cc injectors and walbro 255 fuel pump on my turbo b18c5 shooting for 4-500hp. So your injectors should be enough, like I said though you should upgrade the fuel pump. Just curious what kind of turbo kit?
not sure it by no means a "brand name" kit. i believe its ebay. it was free(came as a package deal with a car i previously bought),its never been used and came with everything i need. i just want to put it to use. and basically have a fun car to drive not saying my h22 isnt fun but 250whp should be more then enough fun lol

It won't lost as long as it should, and you will be better off in the long run getting a different turbo that isn't made cheaply.
Depending on the power you are shooting for & turbo you are using, you could pick up a set of used stock Evo injectors, 560cc. You can send them to RC to have them clean & flow tested for cheap too.
this is probably true but if worst comes to worst ill just take it off and get a better one later dont really wanna just trash a brand new one i got for free. my old d15 turbo was an ebay kit and lasted nearly 2 years with no major problems b4 i sold it. again i was only running 8lbs.
43 x 4 = 172/.6 = 286 flywheel HP. Minus ~20% for ballpark drivetrain loss and you're looking at ~230 at the wheels max.
If you're shooting for more power than that, you'll need bigger injectors than 450's.
Dc4LsTeG: good luck hitting 500 with 525's:
50 x 4 = 200/.6 = 333 flywheel HP.
You'd have to run them at 130psi base to deliver enough fuel for 500 fwhp.
I'd look into 750's, that's a perfect size injector for ~500 hp
Who's doing the math for you guys?
