Default EX wheels on a LX

I have a 94 accord LX and have the opportunity to buy the wheels and tires off a 97 accord EX. Right now my car has 14" rims with hub caps and the EX has the 15" aluminum rims. My questions are will the EX rims fit my LX and does my LX have the same tire clearance as the EX? Also since I am going from 14" TO 15" will my speedometer read correctly? Thanks

Yes, the EX wheels will fit on a LX as they have the same bolt pattern and the cars are the same in dimensions. The differences lie mostly in the drive train and undercarriage (EX has a rear sway bar and different engine set up) axles, spindles and all that are the same.

As far as your speedometer, I wouldn't worry too much as the larger wheels almost corrects the optimistic speedo readings caused by the stock LX set-up. I put 15in wheels on my LX and my speedo is more accurate (radar tested) than it was with the 14in wheels.

Alright,Thanks for the info. I am going in the morning and offer him $200. for the tires and rims. He told me $225. today when I bought the spoiler off the car. All the tires have about 70% tread left except the right rear. It has maybe 40%. I need new tires so this will be a way to get almost new tires and upgrade to the EX rims at the same time. The rims look pretty good except I noticed some curb rash on the right rear. All the center caps are there but they are that plastic chrome stuff and all the chrome has come off them so will have to get new ones.
