Default How to fix the wiper hitting the trim?

I have an issue where the wind picks up the wiper when its moving and it smacks the trim. I have tried many times to get the wiper cowl off but with no success, I got hung up around where the wiper motor was, it would not come off around there. I thought the upper bolt holding the motor in was keeping it from being uninstalled but it was still held on.

So how do I completely remove the cowl to get access to the wiper linkages? Also I was able to see that the arm connecting the drivers side wiper linkage was okay going into the pivot point, but it was loose somewhere around the passenger side pivot point...which is hidden of course. How can I remove that cover without absolutely destroying it like you have to do to get the cowl removed?

Thanks.

To remove the cowl first take off both left & right wiper arms (2 nuts). Then there are about 7-8? little round caps that cover the screws that mount the cowl to the body. You need to pry those little caps off with a small screwdriver. Take the caps off then just take the screws off and it will come off. The linkages get sloppy after a while mine does the same thing but it doesnt rain much here so I never attempted to fix it.

I took everything off, including all of the screws and both blades. It gets hung up somewhere near where the wiper motor is...but all the screws in that area are removed...I don't want to bend up too much in fear of breaking it. Then I discovered there is some stupid cover that covers the passenger side pivot point.
