Hey guys, i want to buy a Honda civic EF9 SIR (Original) , i know it's difficult to find but i think i found one. Upon the side of the car it writes "DOHC VTEC" Like the originals do, I want to make sure its original and then buy it, can someone tell me what to do to see if the car is original ? Also please specify what engines did the EF9 SIR comes with.

Check the vins to make sure they all match and they are 10 digit

They came with b16a

 

Yup 10 degit vin will tell u check the firewall one n dash

check the blue label on the radiator support, firewall, and dash. Not sure if they have it in the door jam, my EK9 does not

 

make sure there is an antenna on the right side otherwise they could have dash swapped it and welded in a rhd firewall
