Default Flat black scratches?

So, I recently rattle canned my lip flat black with some rustoleum and I've noticed something, it scratches extremely easily. I can even scratch it with a light scrape of my finger nail. Is there anyway to prevent this? Maybe, some flat clear coat?

Maybe wet sand and reapply several coats? Or just buy a black urethane lip for a bill

Flat clear coat will "help" keep it from scratching, but flat/matte/satin always scratches easy. My whole car is satin black and it can be a PITA sometimes. Easy to clean tho!
