I got one of these for a killer deal on Ebay, and supposedly it's for the rear EDM CRX fog light switch?

Either way, I'd like to use this as my front fog light switch but have run into many complications on the wiring. It's not the 3 prong switch that many other people have.

Can anyone shed some light on what this came from and if it is indeed for a CRX?

Also would like a diagram (If possible) on what prong go to what on the switch.

its not a rear fog light switch. the rear fog light switch has the image facing in the opposite direction. looks to me like a rear defroster switch with a front fog light image

 

There isn't any CRX/Civic defroster images that look anything like this...But you say it's a front fog light switch?

Any ideas on the wiring?

 

I have one exactly like it. Got it off a friend. so it's not a rear defroster switch with fog image. It's a 88-89 front fog switch.

 

dlaa fogs are sick i installed them too! you can potentially wire up any switch to them im in the works of putting in an edm switch as well but the 88-89 rear defrost switch is perfect to run these fogs ill try and make a write up once i finish my clean install

 

So...can anyone at least get me a wiring diagram on what the prongs go to?

what are the difference between the 90-91 front fog and the 88-89? Images appreciated if anyone has any.

88-89 civic/crx have the longer defroster switch which runs horizontally on the cluster cover. I have owned all the fog light switches available for an EF chassis except the rear fog light switch which looks like this:

dammit...I just looked at my switch again, and it's the EXACT same one that you posted =/

they all look so similar.

 

The 1st pic you posted shows the differences. lol

The 88-89 ones had the little light button at the bottom where it has the indent spot. The 90-91 ones have it on top.

I bought this double mount plate option, along with the switches a few years ago. I haven't even hooked it up yet, lol Not sure which one is which
