Default whats needed to swap b16a2 into Eg cx BAR ready

I'm sure there are plenty of threads for my question.
Im swapping my 94 eg cx model with a b16a2 99 si motor.
I have complete block.

I'm trying to BAR it

Question is:
Which ecu to use??
Can I use D16z6 engine harness?? I know i need to add knock sensor.
Do I use OBD1 injectors, if so which ones.
If using OBD2 do I splice them to OBD1 wiring??
Can I use the cx spindles or will ex/si work. Or do I need b series spindles

Comments, links, anything

Thanks

I dont belive you can install a B16A2 into an EG hatch because its an OBD2 engine and the 92-95 Civic didnt come with the B16. Check with the BAR before you do this.

P2T is the correct ECU for that engine. But to properly get it to work youll need an OBD1-->OBD2B conversion harness. Then youll need to run wires for the knock sensor and secondary O2 sensor. Stock Z6 harness only has 1 plug for o2 sensor. As for the conversion harness, I dont even know if they exist, much less if BAR would let you run one.
I would use 95 Integra injectors since theyre OBD1, but Im not sure how they would work with the 99-00 ECU.
Use B series spindles. 94-01 Integra would be your best bet. Youll also need the rear T bracket from a 94-01 Integra.

Also ask if you can run a 99-00 Ex/Si engine harness since itll have everything you need without splicing wires or running a conversion harness.

A Del Sol engine would be perfect! Where the Del Sol VTEC's released in '94 and '95? If so thats the engine you can use.

Thats if they even check VIN's. I had a Y8 block and a Y8 tranny on my '99 Dx when I went to BAR and they didnt care that I had Ex components. Just as long as I had a Dx head with no MIL's, and passes smog.

spindles are fine

obd1 distributor,
obd1 injectors,
del-sol vtec (b16A) ecu usdm
94-95 integra or del-sol vtec shift linkage and halfshaft and axles
94-95 integra or del-sol engine mounts

92-95 ex coupe or si hatchback engine wiring harness,
94-95 integra engine wiring harness

in the cx model your vtec wire is already present, might have to run vtec pressure switch and a knock

confidence, money, keys to the car, gas!

The general rule for BAR swaps that are tolerable and legal is that it be the same year or newer than the vehicle it will be swapped into,
also you use the engine to swaps ecu, cant mix ecu's so delsol is the only one.

P2T engine harness will not work unless hacked and its not worth it, The harness supports to many different stuff thats compliant with OBD2B

So with that being said the 99-2000 B16A2 is a perfect canidate for the swap as long as you can source all the other supporting conponments from a 94-95 integra or 95-97 delsol, ecu can only come from OBD1 delsol (95) only. This setup done properly with catalyst present ex or si hatchback stock exhaust and stock airbox will pass with flying colors!

Thanks a lot man. 1 other question: will bar mess with me if i completely wire tuck my engine harness and relocate my battery and fuse box to the rear. I'm doing a complete build on my eg, (I will build a complete thread of the build when its done) but I don't wanna wire tuck the engine if they're just gonna fail it

It really depends on how strict your ref is.
Our ref likes to see everything stock, stock ecu stock harness as long as he can see. He does also check the ecu to make sure its the right one.
but thats just how the ref is here.
