hey guys! this is my first post and i just registered couple minutes ago but i've been a honda tech's reader for quite awhile.. anyway, i need some info's about test pipe.. my car is a '00 civic sedan with a jdm b16a swapped engine.. and i do have a catback exhaust for my car. however, i need a test pipe for me to mount it into my oem header.. as the flange of my catback are 3 bolts and the header are 2 bolts only.. the question is, which testpipe should i get? is there a specific b series testpipe for my car or does gsr, integra or whatever b series test pipe would work in my car? any info's and comment would be gladly appreciated.. thanks a lot!

it's a pipe with flanges on it. doesnt take a rocket surgeon to fab one up.

do you not understand that you get online, count the number of holes on the flanges, if it matches.. buy it.

 

i know that but each flange has different turns.. so it wont just bolt up directly.. if it does then i wouldnt have to ask...

 

then go to an exhaust shop and have them make you one?

 

its a freaking pipe? when you say you've been a long time ht reader are you just reading the titles or the whole thread? how has google escaped you?

go spend 100+ on a password jdm test pipe. you'll love it.

or ya know find an exhaust shop with the same size piping have it welded in. or a flex pipe. youre the long time reader though you decide.

 

People act like he insulted you to your face. The kid is just asking a question, if it bothers you that much click back.. Makulitz, any B series pipe should work but test pipes are for turbos & built motors. A high flow cat is way better for the street.. Quieter, more back pressure for low & mid range, & less fumes.

Get a high flow cat. Don't run a test pipe.
