Default Vacuum advance hitting output for heater hose.

Well, when I first got my 89 accord LX (A20A1), the vacuum advance was zip tied on. We where trying to fix it today, but there is a problem.

The problem is that the spot where the hose for the heater connects on the engine, the vacuum advance keeps hitting it therefor the distributor / vacuum advance keeps hitting it... I can't get the dizzy back to it's original location.

Has anyone else had a problem similar to this?

Here's some images.

Yeah, the advance is broken. Nothing I can do about it at this time though..
