DC5r Brembo's on 2012 civic Si, Searched and can't find a definite answer.
Ok, so I have a 2012 Civic SI and I've been in the Honda game for quite a while. Building EF's, EG's, Ek's, Accords, d series, b series, h series, k series, etc. I Want to put Brembo brakes from the dc5 integra onto my car. I haven't purchased them yet but I want to make sure they're going to work before I do so. From what I've gathered, all that's needed are the calipers and brackets, and s2000 rotors. I'm not sure which pads are needed. Is the info i have correct? and do i need to run spacers for the rotors to work or is it all a bolt on affair? And i do have 17" rims but i don't think they'll clear, any idea about that? Much appreciated, and if anyone suggests keeping it with stock brakes then don't comment lol. I know why i want brembo;s and it's not for the bling. Kind of a happy medium between oem and the best.
I heard that the TL calipers work as well, but not sure about fitment... looking into the Brembo treatment as well... cannot seem to find an FD2R front end for parts...
I've heard that the TL calipers work as well, but for what i'm looking to do the rsx type r calipers will do the trick. Any DIY's on the dc5r brake setup?
