My step brother is selling me his 91. Went to go check it out and slight problem. It's been sitting for about 3 months he didn't drive it at all. i started her up... no smoke! super stoked but... the moment i let off the gas it kills off.. why the crap is it doing this? checked the gas and its good for sure. do you all think it might be a sensor going out that causing this or dose it sound like something that just need's to be cleaned out? what's my next step?

 

Check the main relay. Close the windows and doors and click the ignition to "on." You should hear the fuel pump priming. If it doesn't, it's probably the main relay.
