Project Save-A-Lude - '97 Prelude
Alrighty. My best friend bought this car, found out the H22A was dead...extremely low compression on all cylinders. Bought a JDM engine on EBay. Wasn't paying attention and accidentally bought an F22B DOHC from a Japanese Prelude. Lost interest, sold the car to me.
How I got it:

Out with the old:

In with the new:

This is my first ever Honda car. Only my second car, in general (always have trucks). I'm waiting on a distributor adapter from RyWire and a radiator fan, CV shaft, slave cylinder, etc from Rock Auto.
Hoping to try to get it running this weekend. I doubt it'll run very well on the H22 PCM but I'm mostly interested in hearing it kick off. Once that's over with i'll look at maybe an OBD1 ECU that's set right for the F22B.
Goal is to clean it up on the cheap and just use it as a fun little run around car. No fancy paint, cool accessories, etc. It already has Kicker components inside and a CD player and everything works (including cold AC).

More work than I cared to fool with. I'm not terribly interested in getting any deeper into the car than this. Runs and drives is the goal. Don't care how fast it is past that.
