Jesus I'm looking around and these are like at least 300$ for the AEM CAI for GS-Rs.

I don't want this to be a 'any intake is good enough, dont waste your money' thread, I'm just wondering what are some prices you guys pay for AEM CAIs locally? I might order off ebay but AEM says I got to find a local distributor, and 300+$ is normal? Expensive?!

 

I paid $180, and only because I was willing to drop cash for a legitimate CARB EO sticker, but that was 4 years ago.

 

ebay your looking to spend about 220 for AEM CAI, i just bought a aem short ram intake on ebay for 126$ no tax becasue its from new jersey, and they have plenty left(im in CA), but i found a couple K&N CAI(im pretty sure K&N is carb legal) for 180, i didnt care for the CAI becasue im not into racing and i had no intake on the engine i bought so i just need a CA legal intake

 

Why do you care what AEM says? Buy from wherever. You can find used ones for far less then that. Ill be taking off my gsr cai soon and replacing it with a type r cai.
