Default poor mans 5 lug swap.... maybe

can you take a gsr spindal and boar it out a little and put a type r hub in it ... will the brake cal still be able to line up and work with the 5 lug brake rotor

its not i cant afford it its why am i gonna waist all that money just to change out the hubs?.... plus i have heard that its done before by a few differnt people

Because someone took the time to engineer certain things to work safely. Go ahead and do it, just make sure you don't test it with other people on the road. Also, we'll all be here to say we told you so, I'll definitely make sure I do.

everone stop being negative towards the guy if we didn't try new things we would never have custom or hell even new parts for that fact good luck man do more research tho youll find what you need

I applaud innovation and ingenuity, but not when done cheaply/ghetto-rigged, or if it endangers the driver and car.

kdoggparker you dont need to hone anything, you buy the new ITR bearing and hub and press them in, its that easy and it fits with no modification. Then you will need the ITR caliper, rotor and pads. I did it on my ITR restoration that I am working on. It is safe! However I did end up ordering new rear trailing arms because the rear spindles are a different size, but your front knuckles will work fine. I did work for a Honda dealership for a long time and got employee discount on them that is why I went that route instead of sourcing used parts.
For the rest that are being negative stop being dicks to a guy for trying something, espeacially if you dont know if it will work or not, because you really didnt know.

preeeeetty sure an ls hub bore is smaller than type r, so machining would be required.
