Hey Honda guys/girls!! I been outta the honda game for over a year now since my EM1 was stolen and I moved onto the Subaru folks. In the past few weeks I began looking into S2K's to use as a DD instead of my subie. I want to stance out the s2k but I'm kinda stuck on what wheel sizes and offsets I can get away with. I searched before I posted this and called many places and all say different stuff

I know what I will need done in terms of suspension and body mods to make this work but can any of you point me in the right direction? (Please no flaming/hating)

Looking at XXR's 527 either 17X9.5 +35-40 or 18X9.5 +35-40 ALL AROUND

I want to know what tire width would be superb for this wheel..225? 235?

235/40/17's (slightly undersized) and 235/40/18's (slightly oversized) would fit those wheels and your car.

 

How about 225 on the 18's?

 

225 will be less wide than a 235 of the same aspect. So, yes.

 

I don't know if my post was misread, but 225/40/18's are not rated for a 9.5" wide wheel. So, they won't fit safely.

No worries. I think the OP mentioned that he's going to make adjustments to the car to improve clearance anyways, so that shouldn't be a big problem.
