Hondata for H22a
I'm really confused on which system to get through Hondata. I want something that is easy to tune and im hearing the s300 is more complex. I am running a 92-96 stock bore aluminum heads high comp. Stock head for now. Which is more practical s200 or s300? What is the best setup for me?
Free advice that can save you big $$$$: No matter which system you get, take it to a pro-tuner and get it tuned. I tried the DIY tuning with a wideband o2, but I always had tune-issues. I rarely pushed it hard, and it only lasted 2 months before I spun a bearing. I had been driving this motor for 3yrs before the hondata switch, so I doubt it was a coincidence.
Now I am looking at $500 approx to finish my rebuild, and THEN i still have to pay for a pro tune.

^This, I have a S300 because there is a local Hondata tuner and dealer very close to me. All depends on what all the tuners around town use the most and are most familiar with.
I'm running hondata's s300 for the last 4 years on my prelude daily driven love it.As far as intake manifolds, rosko-racing is still pumping out modified euro-R manifolds.

for euro-r you go to roskoracing.com. He is extremely helpful and will work with you if he can. Also s300 is great but if he doesnt how to use it, pretty much its like you tuning the car with it. There are plenty of programs out there ie Ectune, neptune and others. get what he uses and and enjoy your ride
