I'm relatively new to posting on these boards, although I used to be an active member of HT, a few years back my b18c1 type r clone was stolen before it could be turboed.

In any event I've been doing a lot of reading and research. I'm 100% in when it comes to buying an accord, I just was wondering a couple of things.

Firstly, with a good pieced together turbo setup, and a good tune, is 400 hp possible on stock block stock head? I think if I could get an f23 in the 400+ reason I'd be happy. I am very experienced when it comes to turbo(ing) so you guys don't really have to school me on supporting mods. I'm also asking because if it's not feasible, then I need to start building a block...I'd rather put the money towards that then trying to get a motor to a hp goal it will never meet in stock form.

I like phearable when it comes to ECU - but I know I'm going to have to go with something like CromePro early (do it right, do it once). I really am interested in getting like some 750s, fuel pump, etc and a Holset and huge front mount to see of it can be done...

Secondly, and I know this may sound silly, but is it really difficult to find leather seats in good condition for these cars? I am still very into the speed scene but I definitely want leather and all the 6th gen's I've seen so far (for sale or on the computer) have cloth except for one. I definitely am interested in swapping those seats in if at all possible.

Otherwise - are there any other issues I should look out for with this vehicle? I just plan to get the turbo setup running right and stealthy and then throw some stock Honda rims on, lower it, nice sound system, and enjoy it.

Hey so on a F block, 300 to 350 would be more real on a stock block and safe... Leather seats I didnt notice if you said anything about year and all that... You could always get seats re done if you cant find leather seats. I have seen a few but havent seen any in a long time. So good luck on that...

 

I'm looking at either a 97 f22 or 99 f23.

With that car - would 350ish get me in the 12s? I think an12 second sedan is awful quick - and then I could build an f block for more boost.

How much (approx) would you think they'd charge to reupholster cloth seats to leather?
