I'm about an hour away but I've got no space what so ever if that is what you are implying.

If there was a Sheraton close by I could prolly swing a decent discount on a couple of rooms for some H-T folk.

actually the tough part is ride to/from airport. i've been told rochester is the closest airport (still 1.5 hr away), but no easy way to get to the track is there?

i'm just wishful thinking/dreaming of going to the glen.

I believe there is an Airport in Jamestown and Rochester. You may even look into Corning, NY. Fly in, rent car, drive rental to track, drive rental at school, drive rental to airport, fly home. What a perfect weekend. Try and get a room at Seneca Lodge, it's one of those things that everyone has to do at least once.

Watkins Glen is Beautiful this time of year (and the track is beautuiful all year round!)

The airport in Syracuse is also about the same as Rochester. 84.5 miles/81.5 miles respectively.

Is anybody going to be there next weekend? I was hoping to cruise down there and spectate.

A nice drive from either place is fun. You can always hit up all the wineries down the lakes!!!

I'll be there (for the first time) Oct.18-19 to participate in the sprints and enduro. Come over and say hi: I'll be in the white 1988 Civic hatch #44. A bunch of us are supposed to come down from Canada. I hope the others don't choke. I'm already signed up. I know Adam Curpier from this board is supposed to come too.

Yeah, I'm not too far from The Glen. Does anyone know who runs some HPDE there?

Several chapters of the BMW CCA hold HPDE at Watkins Glen.

WG is my favorite track of all times
I rank it third out of 18 tracks, behind Mid-Ohio and Road Atlanta.
