Idle fluxuation. How to fix?
Ive been getting some idle fluxuation from about 700rpm-2000rpm when the car is first started, and this will continue off and on even after the car is warmed. What might/probably is causing this? Any suggestions would be very helpful. Thank you.

Fast Idle Thermo Valve under the Throttle Body. Pull off your intake and while the car is running, cover up the upper left-most hole on the inside of the TB with your finger. If the car dies down and sputters, thats it.
Pull it out (3 10mm bolts) and wrap the top of it in duct tape or duct tape some vinyl. Pop it back on and see if that works...

Thanks, Ill try that. By the way, what is the nipple on the bottom of my throttle body for? I think its like a t a 90 degree angle? It does not have a hose connected to it. (Probably should

you might also want to check you the Idle Air Control Valve. If it's ditry then this iwll cause your RPM's to fluctuate like this. HTH.
check the Fast Idle control Valve/ Idle Air Control valve... my roommates car did this and he had an exhaust on it so you could hear it go up and down.. people would look at him funny thinking he was trying to rev it up and down on purpose in the parking space hahaha...
ahhh Jville B18B representin ... wassup boss ...
yea my B18B has fluxating idle as well ... ive replaced IAC and FITV with brand new ones .. and adjusted idle air screw ... no gasssssssssssssssss ... i have an auto too ... so when it revz to 2k ... i just turn the AC on to make it drop down below 1500rpm so i can put it in reverse without doing a High Rev drop on the tranny
I hydrolocked the motor a long time ago ... dont know if the water warped anything in the throttle body... but Im about to replace the whole throttle body with a bored one with a recalibrated TPS ... and ill take it from there ... i needed the upgrade anyway
