00 foglights

Default 00 foglights

96 ek with a 00 front end but i hooked up the foglights like i was supposed to i think.. all the grounds are there and under the hood everything is hooked where i was told and then in the inside of the car im not sure exactly where to hook them up to my low beams (any pictures) and i have one extra connector that isnt going to the switch or lights or power behind the fuses. any help pictures will be greatly appreciated

How about YOU post up some pictures because it's pretty clear from all the DIYs how to wire up the interior parts. For instance we have no idea what this extra connector is because ther shouldn't be an extra. Are these Ebay fogs?

No. What DIY are you following? Are you even following one? At no time do they tell you to hook anything up to the battery.

im using 00 fogs it dosent matter does it? and my harness dosent even go through the door like on that one.. the stock harness goes from cabin to bay and thats how its hooked up.

Wait. You have manufacturers directions? What part of THEM tells you to wire to the battery?

Post a picture of this extra connector you keep talking about.

they dont but a lot of the write ups ive seen people run a wire to use the foglights at anytime of the day instead of only when the headlights are on. and i will post one tomorrow when its light out.

Some cars have an extra fog light plug that is tapped up somewhere by the fuse box. You have to plug that in. If you want to run your fogs without headlights, you have to an accessory wire so it shuts off with the car. Or directly to the battery but that will stay on and drain your battery if you forget.

dlstech thats the one i used the one thats taped behind the fuse box and im not sure where to go ive used that manufacture one you put also.. ill try some stuff again in the morning
