Frame reinforcement del sol question
Hi All,
Thinking about turning my project Del Sol into a drag only car.
I've read that the Del Sol frame/chassis all around sucks for racing.
What's best practice for increasing rigidity, I guess for each type of racing?
I.e. Drag probably needs rigidity from a strong engine twisting the frame.
Where street course would maybe need some left-to-right structure added for turns?
Sorry for the noob question, I only know that the frame is made to crumple during impact from the factory and mods/welding is needed for racing, just trying to get my stuff straight.
Thanks,
Jon
